How it works, status & contact
v5.26.3 Latest 16 June 2026Changed Open signup — the waitlist is retired
- Anyone can create a free account now. No invite, no waitlist, no "request access" — head to the app and your calendars are on one page in under a minute.
- Ordentus is free during the beta; a simple subscription is planned for later.
New Public pages
- How it works at
/how-it-works— the unified-feed and selective-sharing story, with an honest side-by-side comparison against Google Calendar, Outlook and CalendarBridge. - Status at
/status— a live status page that checks the running service (/healthzand/api/version) on load, rather than showing a hand-set badge. - Contact at
/contact— the right inbox for questions, privacy and data requests, or legal.
Fixed Dead links & alignment
- Fixed the footer's Status and Contact links, which pointed at a placeholder
#, and wired "Read the full privacy approach" to/privacy. - Fixed the landing nav: the Ordentus logo is now left-aligned with the hero headline instead of sitting too far right.
Improved Changelog
- Brought this changelog current — it had fallen well behind the shipped build.
Sharing, invitations & the agent API
v5.11–5.25 June 2026A summary of work that landed across several releases.
New Sharing & invitations
- Per-event invitations — share a single event by link. Pending invites show up as in-grid RSVP "ghost" events in the recipient's calendar until they respond.
- A shared-calendar discovery nudge, with a personalised why-Ordentus page for someone a friend has shared with.
New Agent API & email
- A bearer-token API for AI agents at
/api/external— read and write calendar items programmatically. Setup is documented in the AI access guide. - Transactional email — account verification, password reset and invite messages, delivered through Resend.
New Pages & guides
- An About page — why Ordentus exists, and what it believes.
- A university timetable import guide — get your class schedule into Ordentus.
Improved Platform
- Steadier calendar sync and event deduplication across merged feeds, plus assorted timezone and recurrence fixes.
Landing — Request access
v5.10.4 1 June 2026Improved Landing page
- The Request access button in the top-right nav now opens the dedicated request-access page instead of scrolling to the in-page form.
Terms page polish
v5.10.3 1 June 2026Improved Terms & Conditions
- The contents rail now follows along as you read — the section you're in is highlighted (and kept in view) as you scroll the page.
- The current-section highlight is a soft rounded pill for an easier, less boxy look.
- Fixed a stray horizontal scrollbar that could appear under the contents rail.
Public pages, AI access & admin tooling
v5.10.0 1 June 2026New Request access
- A dedicated request-access page — one clear action, honest scarcity, and the privacy receipt, in the marketing register.
- The page's social-proof numbers — people on the list, invited this week, and typical wait — are now editable by an admin from the Waitlist tab and shown live via
/api/waitlist/public-stats. - The signup form posts to the real waitlist endpoint with calm success / already-on-list / error states.
New Pages & content
- Terms and Conditions at
/tos(and/terms) — full plain-language terms with a sticky contents rail. - AI access guide at
/guides/ai-access— how to connect an AI agent to Ordentus through the API. - This changelog, at
/changelog. - A design gallery at
/roadmap, now with a top navigation bar (Sign in · Request access).
New Admin dashboard
- A notification badge on the Waitlist tab that flags new signups since you last looked, and clears when you open it.
- A Public display numbers editor in the Waitlist tab for the request-access figures.
Improved Marketing & SEO
- Added a social/search preview image (Open Graph + Twitter) to the landing, Terms, gallery and request-access pages.
sitemap.xmlandrobots.txtupdated so Terms, the gallery, the AI guide and request-access are indexable.- Fonts now load via a direct stylesheet link with preconnect on every content page — no more system-font fallback.
Fixed & housekeeping
- Removed the duplicate "Restart server" control from the admin dashboard (the Deployment one remains).
- Added a recurrence-rules (RRULE) support reference to the admin Events page.
- Documented content-page conventions in
CONTENT_PAGES.mdfor consistent future pages.
