Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Ordentus. By creating an account, signing in at ordent.us, or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
If you're using Ordentus on behalf of an organisation, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for it.
What Ordentus is
Ordentus is a personal dashboard. It merges your calendar feeds into one view and sits your Apple Health data — sleep, recovery, cognition — beside them, then works back tonight's bedtime from tomorrow's first event.
- It's a quiet, personal tool — not a to-do suite, an ad network, or an AI scheduling assistant.
- It reads the feeds and health data you connect; it doesn't post, message, or act on your behalf.
- Some features depend on services you own or subscribe to, like your calendar providers and Apple Health.
Your account
You're responsible for the security of your account and for everything that happens under it. Keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you agree to give accurate account information and keep it current.
It's your login — look after it. If something looks off, sign out everywhere from Settings and change your password.
Your data & privacy
Your data belongs to you. We collect only what's needed to run the service for you, and we use it only to provide and improve Ordentus.
- We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not show ads and we do not run third-party ad or tracking networks inside the app.
- You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data on the schedule described in our privacy notice.
When Ordentus is self-hosted, your data lives on the server you control, and these promises are reinforced by where the data physically sits.
Apple Health data
Ordentus reads from Apple Health only after you grant permission, and only the categories you approve — for example sleep, heart rate, and activity. You can change or revoke this any time in Settings or in Apple's Health app.
- Health data is used to show you your own metrics and forecasts — nothing else.
- Health data is never used for advertising and is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Insights and bedtime suggestions are guidance, not medical advice. Ordentus is not a medical device — talk to a professional for health decisions.
Calendars & sharing
You can subscribe Ordentus to calendar feeds you own or are entitled to use. You're responsible for having the right to connect each feed, and for respecting the terms of the services those feeds come from.
Share links you create expose only what you choose — a feed, a date range — and you can revoke them at any time. You're responsible for who you share a link with.
Only connect calendars that are yours to connect, and remember a share link works for anyone who has it until you revoke it.
Acceptable use
Use Ordentus for your own personal organisation. Please don't:
- Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate anyone's privacy.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or try to access accounts that aren't yours.
- Resell, scrape, or rebuild the service, or remove notices and branding.
- Upload malware or use Ordentus to harm others.
We may suspend access that puts the service or other people at risk.
Availability & changes
We work to keep Ordentus dependable, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product evolves.
From time to time we'll need to perform maintenance, and some features rely on third parties whose availability we don't control.
Ending your account
You can stop using Ordentus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, or where we're required to by law.
When an account ends, you can export your data first, and we remove your personal data as described in our privacy notice. Sections that should outlast the agreement — like the disclaimers and liability terms — continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Ordentus is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Forecasts, bedtime recommendations, and insights are informational only. You're responsible for your own decisions and for keeping your own backups of anything important.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ordentus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Where liability can be limited, it's capped at the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Ordentus after a change means you accept the updated terms.
